~ First you must cast your circle.  As you call each element raise your aims in the blessing position (spread apart above your head.)  The elements are usually called starting in the East, place of Air and new beginnings, then turn (deosil) clockwise.

 

"Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the East,

Ye Lords of Air;

I do summon call and stir you up,

To wittness our rites and to guard the circle.

 

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the South,

Ye Lords of Fire;

I do summon call and stir you up,

To wittness our rites and to guard our circle.

 

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the West,

Ye Lords of Water;

I do summon call and stir you up,

To wittnes our rites and to guard the circle.

 

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the North,

Ye Lords of Earth;

I do summon call and stir you up,

to wittness our rites and to guard our circle."

 

 

~ When you finish your rite you must say farewell to the elements.  This is done before opening the circle, and in the (widdershins) anti - clockwise direction.

 

 

"Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the North,

Ye Lords of Earth;

I thank thee for attending my rite,

And ere you depart to your fair and lovely realms,

I bid thee hail and farewell.

 

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the West,

Ye Lords of Water;

I thank thee for attending my rite,

And ere you depart to your fair and lovely realms,

I bid thee hail and farewell.

 

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the South,

Ye Lords of Fire;

I thank thee for attending my rite,

And ere you depart to your fair and lovely realms,

I bid thee hail and farewell.
